The Vision

A place for creativity to thrive…

Art is alive, messy, and meant to be shared. Founded by international artist Victoria James, Stay Wild Studio is a warm, welcoming neighborhood hub in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After years of running a successful art club in Switzerland, Victoria brought her vision to Scottsdale in 2017. She created this space for everyone—whether or not you have an artistic background. Here, you are invited to tap into your innate creativity through a variety of mediums with no judgment or rules about what "Art" should look like. Stay Wild Studio is simply a place to have fun, connect, and enjoy the pure freedom of creating.

Surrounding Victoria’s working art studio is a rotating calendar of community experiences including creative gatherings, exhibitions and guest artists, small concerts, and mentoring programs.

Whether you are a lifelong maker or simply looking to experience a moment of shared creativity, there is a place for you here. Stay wild, stay curious, and come create with us.

What it means to ‘Stay Wild’

True creativity is completely natural—a unique spark that lives at the heart of who you are. Stay Wild Studio is a space to nurture and explore that instinct. We invite you to step inside, lean into your curiosity, and reconnect to the wild within you.

Born in London and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, Victoria’s passion for developing a visual language began in her early teens. She studied Fine Art Sculpture at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and has exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions. Her work is held in private and public collections across Europe and North America.

Today, Stay Wild Studio is both Victoria’s private working studio and a space for creative connection. Bringing people together through art and creative experiences is a central part of her vision. She loves seeing people tap into something liberating, reconnect with their creativity, and discover the simple pleasure of making.

For Victoria, ‘stay wild’ is a reminder that creativity is natural, personal, and wonderfully freeing when we allow ourselves to enjoy the process.
